99% alcohol or turpenoid brushed on starting off with a fairly rough brush back and forth over the sculpture then start to go over it again progressively with softer brushes the end result should be a smooth sculpture the the alcohol should evaporate from the sculpture when left to dry.

Thank you, but where can I buy 99% alcohol?
Does 90% alcohol work thew same?
I can't understand the meaning of turpenoid brushed: Is it used for cleaning bushes?
Thank you again.

99%alchohol can be purchased at any drug store .just have to make sure it says it on the bottle you may also want to try 3m citrus cleaner a bit harder to find but since its petrolium based it cuts the stuff like you wouldnt believe also an alchohol lamp works great .if you decide to try citrus cleaner, make sure you follow up with a wasah of regular alchohol to cut the citrus or it will keep attacking the clay its a bit redundant but the citrus cleaner works the clay 10 times faster than alchohol.

WD-40 down at the bottom of the page tells you who may have it in your area on this websitehttp://www.wd40.com/Brands/wd40_faqs.htmlgreat stuff hundreds of uses look at this website http://answers.yahoo.com/question/in...3171838AADiVvN I have never used 94% alcohol before but if it says its a % of alcohol 90 or above it should work ok but if you dont want to risk using it have a look at the other things recomended to use on this website for smoothing chavanthttp://www.chavant.com/new_site/files/faq.htm I hope this info helped you out.
