Sorry for targeting your particular post but I don’t understand why so many people think silicone is such a fragile material when quite the opposite is true!

To be fair, there is not ONE, but a ton of differents silicones, some with a short lifespan.
If I remember well, IS and QS claimed to use medical silicone, which is platinum-catalyzed. The most expensive silicone, with a whole battery of advantages, non-toxic, stable, odorless, anti-adherent, hydrophobic and bacteriostatic!!! Meaning you can even kiss your busts without risk of anaphylactic shock. Hopefully that will always be the case.
