I saw some pictures online posted by folks getting this in Asia. Very nice! Wish it had some switch outs though. Interestingly enough, this is now displaying in the Last Chance list on Sideshow. Hmmm....

Just a little public service type announcement for those of you picking up this most awesome of pieces. Some things to be on the eye out for.

The cape. Some people have noticed that the left side cape (when viewing face front otherwise it would be Azraels right side) sticks out which I have also seen in person. It is noticeable. If this is on yours, might be an issue.

The sword. Some people have this looking bent to one side (most likely left). The most likely issue is you have it on backwards. Use the buckle on the sword as reference. If you take a look at the video below, you will see what it looks like on wrong.

A shout out to the Batman Statue Collector who does a great job in your videos and posted as reference below. Sorry I had to use you as the example for the backward sword. Buckle should be on the inside coming out.

Here's what it looks like when correct.

This has been your public service announcement.

This guy knows.

Got mine in... absolutely beautiful statue, but it's having this problem big time.

I wrote Sideshow to see what they can do.

A great looking statue and thanks for the positive feedback! I heard that in this case Sideshow should take care of you with some options. Good luck and thanks for sharing!

Well, so far they said:

Thank you for contacting Sideshow, I'm sorry to see this issue on your Azrael statue! To start, I can suggest the following troubleshooting tips for your cape...

1) Leave the cape installed in the statue for at least one week. Gravity should gradually help the part to settle, and reduce the severity of the angle.
2) Using a hair dryer on a low setting, you may be able to carefully warm up the material, which should allow gravity to pull it into a better angle, where the material will then cool and harden. To do this, hold the hair dryer about 10 cm (3-4 in) away from the material, and heat it up on a low setting for about 1 minute.

If neither of the above fixes the issue, please just let us know right away, and we will gladly investigate further to find a solution for you!
So I guess I'll be trying that.

Azrael has been wait listed. Such a great character and sculpt and when will we ever see another Azrael piece again especially one that l@@ks this good. I love the character sculpt and presence of this piece and with a edition size of just #500 this is a sleeper hit. My only peeve is that it doesn't have any switch outs .... I wish it had at least 1 or 2
