We don't even know how big this piece is yet. Between the wing span and base it may have been unrealistic to make her a true 1:4 scale.
Personally I'd rather have a 1:5 for $500/$550 than a 1:4 for $600/$650 or even more.

That said anything over $550 for 1:5 they can take a hike.

I'm not working myself up over it until I see the final reveal. Hopefully, they'll have some pics with LD and Vampi.

Lol yes this is exactly how I feel. So upset about this but hey with so much coming out no big deal. We have plenty of other choices. I agree 1/5 is even better detail than 1/4 but for my collection 1/5 just doesn't gel. They look like child size next to my 1/4. The sculpt is so awesome but the scale is a fail imo for my PF collection. why? I would rather have this 1/4 and heck give us some floppy good looking material massive wings.i was looking so forward to putting this next to my LD and Vampi for the great trio. Looks like another ss way to prevent me from making this happen.

But what if having it 1:4 meant even more than 6 bills?

I love this character but there is a limit to how much I'd actually spend on her. Space is also a factor for me so if she was excessively large at 1:4 it would create an issue for me.

I'm going to wait till Thurs to decide and like Valkrie said hopefully they give us some kind of reference for size.

The size of the piece is important for some things, but not for others. Unless they mess up the scale she will look weird next to 1/4th scale statues no matter how big she ends up being.

That being said there is plenty of room for other scales. I like 1/5

I wonder if ssc could make the wings mixed material to cut cost down instead of having it all Polystone? Surely if
Ssc was worried about the cost and no one would buy it, they could had made it worked.
