VS76 I think it has more to do with what kingDavid mentioned .....

But doesn't seeing things of this size and then seeing Rocket, R2D2, BB-8 prices just grind your gears? I know it grinds our gears...

Why are people always complaining that Disney licensed items are over priced? If you think that then don't buy it and have self control!

Obviously, there are collectors that can afford those prices because look at Sideshows sales numbers and all the sell outs with these statues. So, prices will never go lower unless the mass majority stops buying them. Having Higher prices are better because it then limits you to not have every piece and you have to become more selective on what you buy and appreciate things more unless you are wealthy. You don't need every item out there and in all reality these pieces are not over priced for the amount of talent that goes into them....

If you feel it's too over priced for an item then go create your own art work and see how it compares. Art is a luxury to own so if Sideshow can make a higher priced Star Wars piece due to popularity and licensing then they will and guess what it will still sell very well with the higher price tag when there is proven demand

Toothless is priced great and higher priced Star Wars, Marvel and DC Pieces are worth it as well because they have years and years of building a strong fan base that's popularity increases a higher demand and a higher price people are willing to pay...

If these pieces were truly over priced then we would not see them selling out. The facts are if you have no self control to not buy when you feel it's over priced, but complain about the price it does nothing when your money is doing the talking for you when you cave in and still buy the item you say is over priced. Please, Do yourself a favor and if you think it's too expensive then there are cheaper alternatives of the same characters In plastic form.

I wonder how they came with that number? Almost looks like a typo that should really say either say 250 or 3000.
