Sideshow Collectables told me that when hot toys give them confirmation that the 1966 Batmobile has been cancelled, they'll remove the listing for it in their Upcoming Products section, but it's still listed, so there's still hope it will get released...

I thought I read that the hot toys batmobiles were too big and too complex to make so they wouldn't make another one.

I honestly wish someone from Hot toys would come on this sight just to help clarify things a bit. ...

They may have only been referring to the Batman v Superman Batmobile, as I think it's larger than both the 1989 and Tumbler Batmobiles...

I just read through informal channels, Hot Toys has informally announced they will not be completing this project. They informed Sideshow, and anyone else who would listen this project was happening. They sold figures that some (including me) planned to display with it. Then pulled the plug. Ok, you cant make it work, €_% $/ happens, but step up and formally acknowledge it. Some people (me) purchased your figures to display with the car.

It seems like you have to pull teeth to make statue / figure companies admit when something that they teased or previewed isn't happening. It seems like common courtesy but I guess not...

I was watching for this one along with the possibility of Yvonne Craig Batgirl.

Just noticed something interesting at the bottom of the link below:

https://www.sideshowtoy.com/whats-new/coming-soon/

Unfortunately when you click on the image you get nowt.

Anyone now if this is something old that has accidentally made it in amongst some new stuff or is it actually happening?
