This was the only piece of concept art I could find on the web:

I've been advised incorrectly then, I'll take your word for it Sisko, you've been there and seen in person.

Very impressed so far, desperate for a glimpse of maul now.

Funny, I changed the title to Snowspeeder and yet it still shows as X-Wing. Would a mod please change that?

As far as I know, the original concept was to have a helmeted head, as well as a switch out unmasked head with arm holding the helmet like in the art. Disney said no switch-outs so they had to choose, and they figured the helmeted portrait would make the most sense for the overall piece. I agree, but I would have absolutely loved to have the switch out head/arm.

No problem. As mentioned above there was originally another head, but while I was at the show they mentioned that the other one was not approved. I haven't heard any different since, so I assume that's still the case.

To piggyback of this comment...from all the comments I have heard from those who have seen the portrait...it is a damn near spitting image of Luke.

In fact, this is the SW statue I always thought should have been next release. This thing looks GAWDDAMN AMAZING!!! I am not exaggerating by any means! I will own this.

This is the statue I was thinking about when I replied to your comment about XM should just stick to comic characters because the portraits on DV weren't up to snuff (since been changed for the better btw). I reckon you will change your tune when you see the helmeted portrait on this.
