Animal Man (Grant Morrison)
I stumbled across the omnibus for this series on Amazon, and was wondering if anyone here has read it and if it's any good?

At the time, this was one the best and most original series being published. It was a perfect blend of fun with just enough of an adult-readership spin to it.

I have been thinking about buying that comci aswell.
Is there a definitve ending for Animal Man?
I read someplace they never ended the comic in a proper fashion, whatever that means?

It didn't have to "end".
Just enjoy the journey

YES!
Morrison's run on Animal Man is one of my favorite reads, so I'll always recommend it. It was certainly different from anything being published at the time, and I feel that it still holds up.
Jamie Delano's run is pretty good, too.

Have the full run &, w/ the exception of an arc or two, remember really loving it. Let's not forget those dreamy Brian Bolland covers. Best looking covers on the racks back in the day.

Thanks for posting.
As long as it doesn't have a to be continued ending, it's good.

I picked up the omnibus when it came out and enjoyed it quite a bit. I'm not a fan of everything Morrison does, but I think this was definitely one of his better efforts.
Morrison's run has a solid ending although the series continued without him.

I will put it on my to buy list.
It would be cool if they released the rest of Animal Man in Omnibus format.

It is the only thing that Grant Morrison wrote that I truly enjoyed. Groundbreaking at the time. Solid art and just a great character. The next arc was pretty good as well but after the book went to the Vertigo line it lost me.
