Man ...the base was heavy for the 1/6 scale version of this. I assume the base for the 1/4 version is much heavier. I can see why the shipping costs are that high. Yikes!

At 34 kgs, this one's a big boy for sure
Strangely enough, shipping is only 355 to the UK by DHL express

Dimensional Weight is 75 pounds. Considered oversized, so UPS, Fed Ex/DHL are charging "appropriately." I was curious what it would cost to ship to me in Upstate NY, and my Shipping Charge was $371. Yikes.
In comparison: Dimensional Weight of the sixth scale is 41 lbs, and shipping to me is $99.65. A Bargain!
My guess is the oversized nature of the parcel is causing the huge shipping cost. Ironically enough, if they DID put this in multiple boxes, I bet you the shipping charge would've been much much less.

Comic Concepts has one left in stock. Discounted price. No taxes. And much cheaper US shipping than SS.

I think I'm keeping this one, although I already have a joker I can't pass this one up. Am sure in hand pics will confirm this is a must have for me. BSC had a production sample which looked great

My retailer notified me that I should be getting mine in a couple of weeks. So glad retailers were able to get in on the 1/4.

Nice, not too long to wait, and earlier than I expected. I'll probably pay it off in full once the first people start to get theirs
