Yea, I'd go for the TLW mouth position on the JP female.

This news really stings me as I fell in love with that Raptor bust from TLW at con,it was easily my favorite piece from this years show....been waiting decades for something like that from a good company.I hope you guys can at least offer it down the road because showing it at con,and than not making it available for sale is the ultimate tease.I can somewhat understand your reasoning but it sucks for fans

Just to voice my opinion, I prefer the Raptor from JP, and pose wise with the mouth more closed. But both look awesome regardless so it doesn't really matter.
If shipping and base price isn't insane, I may try to get this..

I think that the open mouth look is not exaggerated enough from the semi opened look. A Raptor with a wide open mouth and a sinister look in the eyes with brow ridge pitched down and hinted movement in the neck/tilted head will be amazing and justify the difference between two really different look.

I think the majority is saying they prefer the more closed mouth position. I wonder if its extra work to create that look and that is why they decided to not offer it!

Hopefully both get released eventually if enough sales allow them to
