I don't understand why Raimi and Campbell do not just make another movie. We all want it and no one wants a remake.

No Bruce Campbell as Ash, then I'm not interested.

I think they should leave the franchise alone, period. No remakes, no sequels, just leave it be. The movies are classics for a reason . . . just let them stay classics.

One of the biggest attractions of the original was how low-tech and deranged it was. A modern-day remake is practically guaranteed to miss the heart of what made "The Evil Dead" great.

Like someone said in the article, if it's anything like Drag Me To Hell it's going to be filled with CGI.

HOLY CRAP ON A STICK!!
Give these remakes a rest and create something original you b@stards!
Most of the the remakes are garbage anyhow.
There's millions of people with ideas just waiting to get a poke at having their concept made into a movie.
I know it's chancy, but for God's sake that's how some of the greatest movies were made.
Sticking to rehashing what's been done is BS.

It looks like the movie writers never came back from the strike.

So true - Can you imagine these two teaming back up on a Jeepers Creepers 3? I love the 2 Creepers movies and since it appears no #3 is on the horizon, I'd love to see Raimi pick it up.
