Recommend a TV series.
Thought it might be a fun thread. I've had Netflix two or three months and its opened up foreign movies and TV series which we don't normally get on our local channels.
Just completed a marathon of a couple of shows:
1. Wallendar: set in the Swedish city/town of Yetsad and about Kurt Wallendar a burt out detective. It ran for 4-5 seasons. Well worth a look 7/10
2. Spiral: French crime drama which is quite graphic and gritty along lines of Silent Witness and The Wire. This comes highly rated. I've watched the first three seasons and would rate the show 8/10.

Enjoyed seasons 1&2 of Game of Thrones looking forward to the start of season 3 on Monday.
Enjoyed season 1 of The Walkind Dead but gave the show up half way through season 2. Just lost interest in the characters.
Loved The Newsroom. Looking forward to season 2.
Watched the first four episodes of Justified. Not bad ill watch it every now and again. Does it pick up significantly as I've watched better shows which have gotten cancelled.

24 is the best show ever.
The Shield was also good, especially seasons 3 and 4.
Dallas is a classic series.
Prison Break seasons 1 and 2 were great.
Breaking Bad bored me but did have some ok moments. Over hyped though.
Alf
Don't think most of these are on Netflix though.

The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, and Breaking Bad are my top 3 series ever.
Jericho was good but it got cancelled. Sopranos was good but I got in late and have yet to watch them all. The first season of Spartacus was really good but not close to the same after Andy died. The 2nd prequel season was also good.

+1 on ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT. be good to catch up now before the new season or movie hits.
LOST, most people lose interest, but, its really a fabulous show.
MAD MEN, new season about to start, i think netflix has most of the others. may seem a bit slow, kinda hard to get into. makes you wanna smoke crazy amounts of cigs.
BREAKING BAD is good. highs and lows (no pun intended).
THE OFFICE one of my favorite comedies. so many seasons on netflix. easy to watch a assload in one sitting.
FAMILY GUY is great too. another series almost completely on netflix.
QUANTUM LEAP i think is on netflix. may seem a bit outdated now, but, the story lines were always original and i loved the actors. one of my top 3 all-time favorite tv shows.

I've been watching quantum leap reruns lately and it's still such a great show, shame they ended it like they did

If you're a fan of Game of Thrones, I recommend Pillars of the Earth. It's an eight part mini-series.
