So what's the deal with the green and "Brown Bess" colors?
Is it the same situation where most people think the alien warriors were blue, but they're actually brownish?

Yeah pretty much, that movie had some funky lighting which threw things off, I.E making the brown & black warriors look blueish. The brown bess is the correct colour, but they look green on screen due to the lighting. When HCG revealed the hero version, people kicked off about the brown colour so they released a green version. They are doing the same from the get go this time around.

Ah okay. Thanks for the info.
I missed out on the original hero version from HCG, what do you guys think about this stunt version compared to the hero?

Ordered Brown Bess Weathered Pulse Rifle from my local UK retailer Collectables Direct for £430. Decided not to purchase from HCG direct. Didn't want to chance it with UK customs.

Hmmm, I'm not sure about UK customs tbh, they can be funny. Did anybody import a hero version?

Australian Customs (under current laws) will allow these to be imported into Australia, provided the importer has a B709A permit issued by their Police Office- Firearms Division, of their particular State. Just check with your Victorian Police Firearms Division (if you are in Victoria) if they will grant a B709A permit for this replica gun.

Apart from the droop factor and the flimsy rocket launcher trigger in their Hero replica, the HCG pulse rifles are not too bad. These latest "Stunt" Pulse Rifles look pretty cool. A bit steep in price.... 400 bucks would be better ...but may consider getting one of these though.

I'm interested in the weathered Brown Bess version. What are these made of?
