What sellers have to stop doing is start auctions at 0.99 cents.
Unless it's a hot item, they could very well end up selling the item for 0.99 cents.

Using the US Agent bust as an example, had the seller of the 99 cent sale priced and described his item accordingly, he might have received $32 instead. While it's no guarantee of a sale, it certainly can avoid simply giving it away for $1.

Yes, it is a buyer's market. However, it's incorrect to say that "nobody is buying". People are buying, just not as many as a few years ago. And, depending on the piece, people appear still willing to pay top dollar, even if it's for a Bowen piece.
