Magdalena's base is ginormous, much bigger than even Phoenix's, so that is likely the reason for the higher price!

ok, now i get what you guys are saying. gotta say, did not see that price coming for mags? that's way more then i was expecting to have to pay for that piece. it really better blow me out of the water once i see it for me to have to drop that much coin on a 1/4 piece.

Same. I love nice bases, but I don't love huge, unnecessary bases.
Magdalena would have looked perfect with a base like Elektra's.

Well we are all definitely going to find out what's up with Magdalena in a few days. XM must have done some kind of reworking on this...because the price tag sure would say so.
