Any info on whether DC will redo this stubby bow legged mistake ?

I think he's talking about this one:

I really don't think the fault lies in the sculpt, rather it's the unflattering photo that distorts the figure. Consider how the sculpt looks from this angle (without the fabric costume):

I think Ray Villafane did a very good job on this one and I'm hopeful the final product will look just as nice as the WIP photo above, so I went ahead & pre-ordered one from my LCS.

The unpainted WIP looks perfect. I would buy it if it were released without the cloth outfit and paint.

I agree with Tobor, Villafane is one of, if not the top comic character sculpter out there. I am sure it is the clothing and picture distorting the actual piece.

We'll see how this one looks out of the box, but knowing how cool the sculpt is under the fabric I may be tempted to remove it & paint him up.

Geez...how about a little continuity and quality control? I have 4 Hal Jordan pieces and every one has a different shade of brown hair. Doesn't DC Direct provide character color guides to the factories for any of their paint jobs? The difference is so noticeable when you display them together.

Honestly, after seeing the ridiculous picture from DC Direct, I had written this off as a sub-standard statue. But now having seen how good the sculpt is underneath the stupid cloth, I may have to get this, remove the squirrel, remove the outfit, and have it painted up. It's a great looking statue without all the extra junk. Before I buy though, I definitely want to see if the legs really are as short as they appear in the promo photo.

I think there's more to it than just removing the clothes and getting it painted. Aren't these assembled in pieces to get the clothes on properly (and underneath gloves and boots, etc? Which would require work to be done to the statue itself? I thought I read that somewhere. I've never actually seen a premium format statue without the clothes removed.
