I just opened mine the other day. It came out better than I expected. I don't think pictures does this figure justice unless you have a high quality camera. Looks more polished in person. The base is quite heavy as well which I was surprised.
However, the battery compartment is horrible. The cover doesn't open and close very well....just a pain to deal with.

I was surprised that it doesn't take an ac adapter. No way I'd leave batteries sitting in the base. Other than that I'm very happy with it.

hey guys, could anyone tell me, if the ex version worthwhile? i can get both, the ex or regular, but the ex is much more expensive than the reg in a local store

Depends on how much you like light up pieces really, i personally love a light up piece and i gotta say F4F do some of the best and dynamic light ups there is!

I don't know why more companies don't add a usb power socket, Jerry over at PCS said adding usb power hardly cost anything and didn't require any extra licenses like adding an actual ac adapter socket does.
Since F4F do do a lot of light ups i figured they would have added this by now.

I'm trying to decide between EX and regular. Do the EX statues look bad when they're not lit? I probably wouldn't want them lit all the time (I'd be worried about fire hazards), and am concerned that the EX statues have bad-looking visible LES lights when unlit or something.
