The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

My friend actually asked me to take a pic of SK next to something familiar so he could get a better sense of scale. So here he is next to a soda can =)

Hmmm, maybe they are similar. Even with the can it is hard to say.

Love the Egg of the perfect world though

Hey, I remembered that people said they got a final payment notice on their Hand of God piece? Any update on this? Is it being shipped?

Prices definitely increased...it was $300 less for my Black Swordsman 1:3 and shipping was ~$250. Great piece for those who missed out.

Prime 1 has made so many different Guts statues I can't even remember if this one is newly unveiled or not.

Initially I thought this was just a rehash of the previous 1/3 in berserker armour, but the pose is actually quite different. I much prefer the option to display the sword either on the shoulder, or in the ground. Having the sword behind the back means it wasn't very visible when on display for most people. I think small changes like the weathering on the cloak, and having Guts standing on the head of an apostle instead of just standing perfectly upright, really make a big difference to the overall impression of the piece.

I preordered this last night. Right now I have the 1/4 Unleashed ordered as well. I wish one was the clear front runner so I could make an easier choice, since I don't really want to collect multiples of the same character. Ultimately, it might just come down to space for me. With my setup, the new 1/3 is actually easier to display than the 1/4 Unleashed, which has a huge base.

How tall is the new 1/3 with the sword in hand?
I am a little intimidated by the size, being 121 cm long.

The only 1/3 I have is the Prime 1 Geralt, which is 88 cm tall...

I may have to go with the 1/4

I asked P1 and they said Guts is 96cm with the sword pointing down. To be honest, I don't think I can currently display either version. The base on the 1/4 is at least 15cm too large for my cabinet, and this new 1/3 is 1cm too tall as well.
