Yea, that looks like smoke or mist coming out of the castle turret And TH is using that to support Sorceress for a floating pose effect. Very Nice!

And the design does match Teela, So looks as legends as Teela does. I'm fine with that.

As long as Sorceress is as gorgeous as Teela, I'm in!

That would be a huge base for Legends and I remember David Igo telling someone (Gem Mint Collectibles perhaps?) at SDCC that since the Classic line is 1/6 scale they wanted them to have bigger bases in order to give them similar shelf presence to 1/5 and 1/4 scale statues.

Good points, besides; why TH would use the mini-comic based Spirit of Grayskull in the Legends line?

I don't get the complaints. Are people upset she's not modernized enough? Did people want the Egyptian looking, separate wings 200X version or something?

I have no stake in this since I wasn't planning on getting into the Legends line but I think people should pump the breaks on writing off Sorceress so early. Looks like it's still in early stages of concept and even if that doesn't change I've seen sculptors do amazing things with a drawing that isn't highly detailed.

Well, she needs to look a little more stylized to fit in with the rest of the line.
In this drawing she looks a bit more traditional like the Classic line.

It's too early to make a judgment on her, it's only a drawing, and I'm getting her regardless, but I wanted to see first something like Man-at-Arms, Man-E, Ram Man, Buzz-Off from heroic side... Even Clawful, Tri Klops, Webstor, Whiplash would've been a little cooler IMHO.

Teela was a must and her warrioress and sexy design made early in the line was more fitting.
The Sorceress on the other is a shaman with a bird outfit, she's cool and all, but isn't catchy enough as a MOTU character to be made this early... That's just me.
