Is this how Hot Toys routinely operates?

I agree. I'm concerned with re-releases now. In particular, I've got a Drax from GOTG on preorder and I'm concerned they're going to release one for GOTG2 with more features. I can see them making a screaming head sculpt, which would really bug me. It just sucks because the Guardians are *just* getting finished with Drax and it's RIGHT before GOTG2 premieres. XD Gonna bug me if they pull a stunt like that. lol

If Drax has a different outfit and weapons for GOTG2 you're pretty much guaranteed to get a new release.

Hot Toys is interested in how their bottom line benefits.They are not in business to create 'releases' that would benefit the collecters' sense of value, now or in the future.
