I don't want a reboot... if they can't make a good squel, they should leave it alone... But ofcourse they won't, those money grubing evil bastards must beat the crap out of every franchise till noting left. :/

I believe it will be lame like the Robocop reboot.

I don't want new designs to sell bunch of lame toys.

What i want is.... lol

This sucks. The cast and ideas I see and read coming from this film just blows. Black needs a throat punch.

The Predator moves to Aug. 3, 2018 release.

Shane Black’s reboot of the “Predator” universe is spending six more months in the oven.

20th Century Fox announced Saturday that the Feb. 9, 2018 release of the Olivia Munn, Keegan-Michael Key and Boyd Holbrook starring vehicle has been changed to Aug. 3, 2018.

Holbrook stars in the film as an ex-Marine who discovers the existence of the titular alien species and is forced to lead the fight against them. Jacob Tremblay (“Room”) plays the marine’s son, an autistic boy who is bullied in school but becomes vital to his father’s mission as his ability to quickly learn languages proves to be a valuable tool.

So apparently they have already screened this to a few select test audiences. The feedback was mixed at best with some "hating" it. Many sighted a comedic tone that was hard to get used to, and a radical departure from existing mythology within the franchise...

After Iron Man 3 I have zero faith this film will be even remotely good. I’m expecting the focus to be on the stupid kid.

I was happy when I first heard about the new movie but the moment I came to know about the director / writers, my expectations were not so high. After I saw the cast, my expectattions totally went downhill.

I agree. Nothing will ever be as good as IM3. It does make me less excited for everything else knowing that.
