Considering for same price you can get a 1/4 statue from other companies
Considering all the negative vibes dying down not long after the first pics came to light, I'd say it gets a passing grade. But I don't hang out at every corner of the net, but I also do hang out here and members are very good about spreading word of a statue bust with what I've seen over the last few years, sooo...

It costs the same more or less as 1/4 statues sure, but the thing is as heavy and big as any of my 1/4s. It's a t-rex....1/20 is the same size and weight as 1/4 characters by my judgment so it's priced right.

The paint app will never be what the proto is but it's a reminder that even China's best factories aren't going to compete with an individual determined to create perfection.

Once you get over the fact that you won't own a prototype of your own, I imagine it's an easy purchase. Not everyone will get over it, though. People work hard for what they have. I don't blame anyone for backing out on their rex purchase. But I think they need to take the time to consider why this did not match the proto and I am certain once they do they will realize this here is worth $500 while proto level paint apps would cost much more. But they rather just scream false advertising like it's not the standard for collectible companies to use a prototype to sell product that has not been produced yet so oh well...

Received mine...my first thoughts:

-smaller than anticipated
-surprisingly heavy sculpt which is always nice
-a very detailed accurate sculpt ruined by ugly seams.
-basically a nice airbrush paintjob ruined by amateurish brushstrokes & dots.

I'm a huge JP fan and I will be keeping mine only because there won't be another breakout T-rex in the future. This is one of those iconic movie moments.I will be looking into it later for a serious upgrade.Still, it hurts quite a bit when you're paying that much money for a poorly handled statue.Unfortunately, this is not a collectible I am proud of to have on display at the moment.

Probably should put a coat of clear gloss paint over it just to make it pop a bit. Also the lighting in your pics don't help much either, I swear some of pics posted here with the right lighting makes a huge difference.

I think your statue looks pretty good. Only the dots are a little to much.

I have them both and they look great. The stego is a lot bigger than the rex though and kind of steals the show. I am probably going to move her

Breakout Rex has arrived in the U.K!!..

I received my Breakout today, I got number #403, and all I can say is DAMN!!!, this piece is freakin' awesome and BIG!!, she looks so impressive from every angle, the paint job is amazing, you have to see this piece in person to truly appreciate how much effort has gone into this.

Thankyou Chronicle Collectibles for such an incredible piece, my first Jurassic Park collectible from you guy's and with quality and attention to detail like this it most certainly is not my last, plus assembling the fence is a lot of fun...
