Cross country skiing is great if you live in a small country.

The nice fella over on Freaks just posted this . . .

Quote:
. . . The classification code is 9503.00.90.59. for SSC Hulk/Wolverine 1/5 No custom duty, just paid taxes.
And a reminder that the other codes that work can be found on page 3 of THIS thread.

Yes we have the same issues buying xm. It's very rough on the shipping a any other fees involved. Hope they will find a better way in the near future.

How do we go about actually getting this changed? Contact SS? or FedEx?

I'll be trying BOTH - but as mentioned before - the only thing I have on order isn't due to ship until Nov 2017.

Regardless - it's blimmin' annoying we'll have to jump through hoops individually and repeatedly to try to adjust something that Sideshow (or the CRA) should have been able to sort out themselves - ONCE.

I tried sideshow. They couldn't do much for me, unfortunately.
Their Customer Service was top notch though, I ended up cancelling one of my orders and will get it from one of the Canadian distributors.

New question to ask myself.. do I need the Exclusive? A lot of the time, the answer is no.

That could save $300+ per statue.

I'll try FedEx next about this invoice.

It is brutal that this whole deal is a result of Sideshow not properly coding the items for export and that they refuse to fix the issue so that their customers don't have to go through this ridiculous dance.

Yeah - frustrating to say the least.

I feel REALLY bad for those folks that buy lots from Sideshow.

FORTY-TWO percent - geez dude - that's CRAZY !

(* although we had a dress shipped from China 2 weeks back and THAT came in at 12% regular tax + 18% "clothing tax" - all apparently legit - we were NOT impressed! *)
