Hard Hero Hulk review

Finally broke down and got this bad boy. I held off for a long time due to the fact that I was not sure if I liked the 90's hair cut. But I found him for a pretty good price and all the great things I have heard about him I decided - Why Not? Well it was a good choice. This Hulk is pretty impressive. One of the more Ripped Hulk statues and standing around 15" tall this guy would be a nice addition to any Hulk fan collection.

Face sculpt - 5 out of 5 I love this fave sculpt. This may ne the meanest looking hulk statue out there. He is giving that evil, Jack Nicholson in the Shining, stare. His eyes are red and he just looks plenty pissed. Could be my fav. part of this statue which is funny because it was one of the reasons I held off.

Body Sculpt - 5 out of 5 / Pose - 5 out of 5 - Total 5 out of 5 - This Hulk is a tad more ripped then some of the other hulks out there. Which is something I like. Look at them abs I love the sculpt of the back also.Lots of detail. I love how broad the shoulders are also. This hulk is just not messing around. The pose is so good that Randy Bowen stole it for his Retro Green Hulk Pose (as well as his Red hulk and Grey Hulk).

Paint - 4 out of 5 - I like this color green they used. Much better then the overly Yellow Green that Bown uses IMO. Nice use of shadding and nice detail on the face and Eyes.

Overall - 4 out of 5 Not an average. Well this one has been around for awhile. While I would say there a some better done Hulks - (PF, CC, PH, Diorama) I would say this is one of the best non SS pieces. It's a keeper!!

I love this Hulk is was the very 1st statue I ever bought I picked it up for like £120 ($200) which I thought was more than reasonable. Still to this day it makes me smile

Just put this old favorite up beside the New Hulk Premium format by Pablo (Green) and the Hard Hero is still amazing. Nearly as heavy as the PF and one of the best Hulks Made.

If you are a Hulk fan you must have this statue.
