I have 3 Sideshow pieces on pre_order, Lady Deadpool, Aspen, Harley Quinn (Suicide Squad Movie). With a Sideshow pre_order there is always a risk. I like to think these 3 are safe and will turn out great.
The last 10/10 Sideshow piece i received was Captain Marvel. This statue show's what Sideshow can deliver, when they use the right factory. Black Canary is a good example of Sideshow delivering average quality. I so nearly pre_ordered Black Canary, and was so happy i didn't when the in hand images started to surface.

What’s wrong with Black Canary? Just curious

See the Black Canary thread

In short, compared to the proto, Black Canary looked rough around the edges. Those that received the piece pointed out that Black Canary's fingers looked odd. There was grove running down the rear of both legs in which the stockings were pushed, which sort of worked, but was unexpected. The statue looked ok, just not Captain Marvel excellent

Yeah I just browsed it. I didn’t have any QC issues and I think it looks great. To each His/Her own.

Yeah, Captain Marvel was one of Sideshow's best by far. I'm very happy I preordered her back in the day fast. Very happy with it in my collection room. There's always a hit and miss for statues. I wanted their first Wonder Woman and Dark Phoenix to be of the Captain Marvel level of craftsmanship. Sadly, I had to find a friend to repaint Dark Phoenix.

No issues with my BC EX either. And I'm with the camp that says she looks great.
The sculpt is stellar ...befits the beautiful and playful side of BC. One of the sides I love about BC.
If I find a piece that shows off BC's kickass side, then I'll get that too.
This new WW PF will look just as gorgeous as BC.

only issue with BC was the finger, it seemed awkward - but other than that the piece is beautiful, and very glad i picked her up
the criticism against the stockings is a bit over-exaggerated i feel

What? An over-exaggerated criticism here?! Impossible!
