Too true Mr.Pizza. I love the IS pieces I have and will continue to support them but some of their decisions are questionable, hopefully it doesn’t get out of hand like the prime 1 recolors and rereleases. I’m just upset about the dio being Batman again. Batgirl would have been amazing to see, but basically anything tbh other than another Batman. High hopes crushed at least for me. Fingers still cross for this hawkman

For good or bad, Batman is by FAR DC's biggest gun sales wise, so it makes sense that overall, he has a heavy presence in Iron Studios' line up. The guaranteed sales that will come from the new diorama etc. offset the risks needed to make a statue of a character like Hawkman.
We see the same thing with Prime 1, they are making a tonne of different Batman 1/3rds, but they are also making General Zod and Cyborg Superman.

Even in 1/6 scale, that orientation would be a problem for a lot of people, including myself.
At 1/3 scale, that's gotta be something like 5' wide.
Only way I could see picking that up is if they only offer both options together (which then, of course, seriously inflates the cost).
It would be an insanely cool option to have if circumstances, or the room layout, ever changed. But then again, it would probably become too overbearing for most rooms like that.
I auditioned a set of Magneplanars twenty years ago. The sound was utterly bewitching and nothing else has ever come close for me since. However the panels were just too damn big. They would have been psychologically intimidating in the room, which would then go towards defeating the purpose of using them to relax.
But then I don't have a lot of square feet to work with. If someone else does, the open wings are going to have a crazy amount of presence, along with a composition unlike anything else out there.
Either way it's a knockout piece. And I'm gonna hustle next year to try to get it.
