I'd go so far as giving Swamp Thing full marks. Kevin Durand could play a rubbish bin and I'd still give that show a 10/10

Interesting tone. Grim dark opening (with some jokes) and then lighter fun feeling. I'll keep watching and see how story and characterization goes.
I will say, does every TV/Movie high school have the "jock bully"?

The opening made me wish this was a JSA series.
While I understand it was for the benefit of the audience, but did Pat really have to mention everyone by name on first seeing them. Made the whole scene awkward and cheesy.

I guess they could have done a freeze frame with a text on the screen. I was fine with it, if only because seeing lesser known characters on screen was a treat.

There are all the cliches of the high school universe, but I enjoyed this Stargirl for what it was supposed to be: an entertainment.
I look forward the second episode.

Yep, it has lots of humor but also lots of foul language and graphic violence, so the perfect Harley show

So of course it was cancelled immediately after the pilot episode.

I also liked that they established that her character as having an athletic background with the various gymnastics and martial arts trophies.
