It is always a shame to see them. Even Prime 1 aren't above visible seems sadly. In my opinion they should never be present on a high end collectible. One of the first things you learn building models is how to hide seams, you would make the effort for a $5 model airplane and it's worth it. On a $500+ statue it shouldn't even be a consideration. I'd rather have no swap outs than visible seams generally, so a statue with no switch out parts has no excuse.

Not crazy about that photo. The Rancor looks too "Dry". In the film it has a slightly glossy look to it.
I think the paint apps are too light as well. Colour should be more saturated.
Who knows. Maybe it's just horrible lighting.

It's one of the models used in the film. They also used a person in a Rancor suit as well as a puppet.

I agree with Gary. The paint does not look great. I asked about it online and the response I got was essentially "bright lights" skewed what it really looks like.
