Yeah, it's the only one of the 2 I'm interested in. Not a big fan of the Jim Lee Storm.

Of all the costumes, Lee gave Storm the worst IMO. Even Jean, with her pointless thigh pads, was a better look. Also, unless SideShow makes the suit SILVER - don’t even bother.

Ororo needs to be done in a modern style. Either modern long Mohawk or her unitard with boots (like my avatar).

Also, I am getting more and more worried Marvel is going to put Storm back with Black Panther which was the most forced and sh!tty cash grab. And in line with comics, I expect a Gambit to go with Rogue since they have now tied the knot.

I usually post on threads for stuff I like and I'm thinking of purchasing. When this thread started i was super hype for X-23 and Psylocke. However, I have been under whelmed so far with Mystique and Emma, who really sucks and looks like she escaped from a 70s go go show. I had such high hopes for this line and have seen so little delivered.

Guess I can go ahead and get Red Sonja now since I'm not anticipating getting Psylocke or X-23 if this pattern holds up.

We also have tons of Wolverine in yellow costume. That's what lots of people like, and I happen to like Storm's white costume. So, what's the problem???

I will take it that you don’t see the difference in the Wolverine suit designs. They are not all the same “yellow costume”. However, all the Lee Storm statues made have been white - and clearly not the comic accurate color. At least Wolverine’s renditions have been comic accurate. Some with a little SideShow-fication.

It’s like saying Storm in a black one piece is the “black costume” when they are different.

I can appreciate your love and dedication to the white (cartoon) version of the Lee design, but it doesn’t seem like you can ever show the same level of understanding and respect for those of us who have ZERO silver suit options. You know, the comic accurate version for us who actually read comics, are tired of the animated series colors, and would like variation in our collections.

Someone hasn’t read the last volume of Black Panther (before the recent relaunch)...

I like the long pants version of the Storm costume you posted but if sideshow did either of them I’d dig. They’d change the details to their own anyway. I hate her modern Mohawk looks and I’m glad that’s over with now. I can see them making a Mohawk head the Ex.

I hated when they put BP and Storm together but once they were I actually loved the pairing to the point I hated they broke them up and handed her off to Wolverine. And I like Wolverine. But Storm was a Queen, an X-Man, an Avenger, etc...Wolverine is cool but he’s a downgrade from Black Panther. And he died on her lol.
