1890's man tank , in progress

This is a concept sketch, meaning I'm not finishing it from the other side!, it started out as a more historical piece but then started getting a little more genre/fantasy looking.

Ok so this is where these guys ended up , and it's on it's way to Comic-Con. Check us out in booth 4621 in The Fantasy Illustrator's Area , we will have a How-To panel upstairs on friday at 10am. thanks yall





All of the tank is Billy Mayes Mighty Putty, the ground is paperclay , the wood is wood.

Very cool piece! The era and aesthetic similar in ways to something I've got on the bench.

Good muscle man too, Shifflet triceps.
