I would like to see Hot Toys do figures for the Witcher 3 video game but I think someone has that license. Maybe they can get the Cyberpunk 2077 license.

Sideshow just listed the male "V" from Cyberpunk 2077 from Pure Arts. So Hot Toys won't be doing that line. I've never heard of Pure Arts, but the prototype looks good.

CD Projekt Red actually confirmed that Hot Toys is making a figure of Johnny Silverhand (Keanu Reeves), but Pure Arts will be doing all the other characters.

They also said that they wanted Hot Toys to make all the Cyberpunk 1/6 figures, but Hot Toys was only interested in making the one for the Keanu Reeves character.

Thanks for sharing. That’s interesting news. Odd to see a license split like that. Hot Toys has made some odd choices on which products they choose to take to production. I know maximizing sales is the game, but as I have speculated early, this year is very light for more licenses on new movies. So I would have thought Hot Toys would jump at other license opportunities. I they believe the Keanu celebrity would be the main that drives Cyberpunk sales.

Hopefully I'm not bringing up something that has been discussed ad nauseum. If so, please forgive me. I've been away from these forums for quite some time. Having said that... why is there not a FERRIGNO Hulk?!?!

Is it the Universal thing? Now that they own the character outright, does that still affect property licensing?

Or, is this maybe a thing where Lou himself wants too much for his likeness?

I want this figure more than any other. Then... a Gary Frank Hulk.

Hot Toys likes to make products that will have high sales and I don’t think there would a huge demand for Ferrigno Hulk. Plus you are probably correct about the rights being a mess. Most of what Hot Toys produces is based on movies, television and video games. Sideshow would be more likely to do something based on the comics.
