Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

This might be my next statue. Hopefully the base looks good. A little scared by how much it is going to be.

The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

Wow I'm really surprised Holly would sell Egyptian Queen. I have always heard that painting actually used Ellie while she was pregnant with Holly as a model.

I'm glad I got to see it in person at least once before it is sold. I wonder what they will bring? I searched some previous sales and most were nose bleed high like in the $900,000 plus range recently but some for $400,000. I know Bloodstone sold in 2010 for just $65,000.

Just sad to see the collection being broken up further...seems like all the kids and grandkids are just trying to overcapitalize and going to the well way to often, just an outside opinion.

Money talks Warhead. The whole family is trying to cash in on their Father/grandfather.Wonder what will they be doing if he wasn't a painter.

I can't blame them for trying to make money off of it. And for someone to actually have a chance to own these I think is amazing.

Totally agree...just wish there was a will that Sr. did saying that the original collection stays together in a museum for all to see..let the kids cash n on his licensing....the kids and grandkids who sell off his paintings will live a far more luxurious life than Frank and Ellie ever did.
