Looks great.....it’s just that......they both have metal rods going up their bungholes. I can’t not see that from now on. Should that not bother me?

Not really directly there, but off to the side. More in the area of their thigh.

If you look closely on there site and click on the picture of their backside, you can see, especially Batman's, the rod is off to the side.
But I can surely understand your concern lol

If you place it below your eye level so your looking down a bit, I doubt you'll see much of the rods.
