If I had to judge it.... based on the deferred response he gave during the Facebook live to someones question about that pair. I believe it was prior to NYCC. But anyway.
The response seemed like a no it ain’t happening
What I mean it wasn’t a very reassuring response whatsoever.

No way I'm canceling mine...the Indominus is masterly posed and sculpted by its creator. It's a beauty on its own.

Steve Jubinville sculpted the Indominus Rex ... And he is not working for Chronicles, here are the 4 mains guys who worked on the indominus, Steve sculpted the final version seen in the movie, Martin painted it.
Steve, sculpted the Prime1 Irex ... You can contact him for more information.

Thanks for the info Giu.
I remember Paul saying that the guy who created the I-rex for the movie was responsable for their maquette.
In any case it's one beautifull maquette.

Ohhhhh yes.
I know that.
Here is the truth, I'm pleased to share ( again) with you an interview with Digital Creature Model Supervisor for Jurassic World, Geoff Campbell
http://www.zbrushcentral.com/showthr...Jurassic-World
The heavy lifting began with Steve Jubinville coming on board as the lead modeler for the show. Steve came with an incredible sculpting talent in addition to having worked on a number of dinosaur projects before coming to ILM. Building up his own reference library of lizards, birds and other animals he started sculpting an entirely new model of Indominus based on Kris’ maquette, starting with an accurate skeleton and muscle model for rigging and then moving on to the surface topology, detailing and adding structure, weighting skin folds, adding creases and aging along with bony scuta along the side of the head, neck and back. Martin worked with Steve, mapping out a scale pattern and the two of them worked back and forth in ZBrush, Adobe Photoshop and The Foundry’s Mari to finish the model and texture.
Enjoy bro.

I like this and it might help a few people with size/scale queries.

Muchos gracias for this comparison picture Steve!
I'm baffled by looking at the CC Pachycephalosaurus next to the CC rotunda Rex...the Pachy is not that much smaller than the rotunda Rex but there's a price difference of almost $1000 between these two!!!!
Also comparing the IS 1/10 Rex standalone vs the 1/9 CC rotunda Rex...the latter is twice as much $ as the former! That is scary!
