They must've factored in a cheeseburger diet into the sculpt. lol, and why does that base have to be so big? It's like they make it that big to equal the premium they charge. Take 3/4s of that base away and they can charge way less to include shipping. That much base is totally unnecessary.
The first two pics posted on this page show how tall the base should've been.

They look pretty good together! Also, seeing the concept pic of the diorama, the base of Cap and Iron Man will be a lot shorter and they will be in the front of the other two. If all bases were the same height, we wouldn´t be able to see the two characters in the back.

There big because these are the guys who go in back, Capt, Iron Man will be on smaller bases as they will be in front of these statues...

Looking at the dimensions of the statues on SS pages, I would guess for a set of 4 for half a diorama, your looking around 30"x30"x26"
Just a guess though as we don't have dimensions for the statues in the front of the diorama yet..
