Very informative thread. I was thinking of going with Bestas for larger pieces, but maybe the Billy is a better alternative.

In theory, if I only used the middle shelf it might hold the Prime 1 Deathstroke's height and width... but it might be too shallow of a depth.

I'm in the middle of reorganizing and thought about the Billy too. I agree though, the Billy appears to be too shallow at 11". It would be great for 1/6 scale (or similar pieces), but doesn't appear it would accommodate larger for the most part.

Anyone had experience with Pax? I keep looking at them, but can't decide if the price is worth it. With Besta, at least you can buy a piece or two at time if you want.

I went on IKEA's website but didn't see anything under BESTA that looked like it would hold a large 1/4th. Maybe I'm not looking in the right spot?

Does anyone have links to suggestions?

This is the frame. As far as I know they only do singles now.

I guess this is a good place to add the Ikea links I've been considering (all the black or black/brown versions):

Besta Cube - 25.25" H x 24" W x 15.75" D

Besta Cube2 - 25.25" H x 47.25" W x 15.75" D

Glassvik Glass Doors (for Besta Cubes)

Besta Bookcase - 76" H x 24" W x 15.75" D (I couldn't find the glass door for this)

Billy/Oxberg Bookcase (w/ glass doors) - 79.5" H x 31.5" W x 11.75" D

Billy Bookcase (Dark blue w/ glass doors) - 79.5" H x 31.5" W x 11.75" D

Theres was no info on how much weight it can carry. You guys think it will hold well? Gonna fill the remaining space with other statues aswell.
I was checking out the Stuva for my needs, but couldn't find any glass doors. Anyone know if Ikea has any that fit?

Good question that I hope someone can answer.

At first glance, the Stuva Cube and Stuva Cube2 have similar dimensions and structure to the Besta Cubes. So the Glassvik doors would probably work. Like the Besta Bookcase frame, I have no clue what door would fit on this Stuva tall frame.

Are there any other color options for the Stuva line?

Not Ikea, but here's a few other storage solutions I came across today: Custom made acrylic showcases.

American Option - Specialty Plastics

Europe Option - Sora
