Me to, I havn't seen some of them in ages. I was thinking to myself the other day. While there are franchises I like a lot more (Star Wars, Alien, Predator etc) Has there been a more consistently entertaining franchise as M:I? I'm not sure there has....

aside from the MCU (which has had more missteps than M:I) i dont believe there is. and tom cruise imo is one of the last true movie stars / entertainers - dude always puts 210% into everything

Yeah, I don´t think there is a franchise with 4+ movies in a span of more than 10 years that is this consistently good. it´s crazy how dedicated people involved in this franchise are, especially Tom Cruise. He actually spent the last 2 years having helicopter lessons so he could pilot it in the movie, and ALL scenes of the movie were stunts. Really impressive.

This Mission: Impossible also has now my favourite theme of all of them (it´s not a spoiler since it´s only the music, but don´t click on the link if you want to hear in the cinema first):

Yes! The new theme and overall score in Fallout were EXCELLENT!! Best yet. Had a Heat/The Dark Knight feel to it in several spots.

I want to see the new MI based on the reviews here but didn't see the last one. For those that saw the new one, does it matter?

It absolutely matters. You MUST see Rogue Nation to fully appreciate Fallout. It’s a direct continuation.

Mission Impossible Fallout: 9/10

I also enjoyed this film a ton!

And, I must agree with your thoughts on Tom Cruse. His stunts in this movie are simply ridiculous. He did put 210% into this film. I don't know if the guy has a death wish, but I can't imagine he can keep that kind stunt action up for too many more years without buying the farm.

Ant Man and the Wasp 7/10

Think i'm starting to get to my Marvel saturation point was ok but felt like one of the weaker recent MCU films

Didn't feel like there was a real main protagonist
