Should make for some interesting viewing

The show would be a lot better if they killed off most of the main cast. With the exception of Fet and the old guy, everyone is really detestable.

SPOILERS!!!

So maybe this is completely unnecessary, but I need to vent,

On the upside, the first 15-20 min of this episode was really good.

I knew full well that the master wasn't going to be killed, because if he dies then the show's over. So, knowing this was the season finale, I figured they still have to throw us a bone here, so no, the master won't die because there's a second season, but something has to be revealed right? Something big? Something that we've been waiting all season long to see happen, so awesome that we'll be saying to ourselves tomorrow, "wow that episode rocked!!!!!!!!"

And what was it?

Three naked vampires that looked like the master quite a bit!!!!!!

That's all!

And they weren't even awake?!!!!!

WTF!

As far as the last ten minutes of the episode went, that was the most boring season finale of a tv series I've seen in quite some time. Surprise surprise kid, mom's a vampire. (yawn) Wow, no way, I NEVER saw that one coming!

Oh, and did anyone else burst out laughing when all the vampires started moving in reverse up stairs and everything? That was hilarious.

The finale was anticlimactic, cliché ridden trash. I don't know if I'm going to keep watching the show after this.

I read the previous post again about the vampires going up the stairs backwards, I'd forgotten all about that. That was a really ridiculous scene.

I'm somewhat psyched to see the season premiere tonight, we'll see where this show is going. Again, I'm hoping they'll throw us a bone here, give up some secrets of the show finally.

I enjoyed this episode, yes this show does have its rough edges which I'll avoid talking about, but I think there's a lot of entertainment packed into one episode. Since this episode was the season premiere I think it was a good decision to make it 90 min long. And they did give us a few juicy tidbits, the origin of the master was very well done (this particular scene was directed by Del Toro, and it really showed his hand all over it), the scene with the sleeping vampires was interesting, and I really enjoyed the storage lockers scene. But the final scene of the episode was so dark and creepy that it was worth watching the whole episode just for that payoff. I'm hooked for another season.

Also, the acting on the show continues to be superb IMO.

Despite the shows flaws, I still really enjoy it, it's fun entertainment. Still gotta finish the last couple episodes from last season before I can start on the new season..
