I was also charged in full. It's still in pending mode though on my credit card.

Hopefully, they take into account the deposit I already put down.

I to was fully charged with no e-mail. So, I put in my
ticket and waited. My questions were simple.

1. Why was I charged with no notice.
2. Why was i fully charged and no deposit removed
from total.
3. Why was the Tracer statue removed from your site.
4. When is this statue shipping exactly.

Here is the response.

Hey there Richard! This is Game Master Vepolis at your service!

I was able to take a look into your issue with your order from the Gear Store for the Tracer statue.

Currently we have been receiving some contacts with this statue being ordered. It seems like some players have been charged for the full price of the Statue before it is ready to ship. I believe this for preperation of shipping this item out!

Once the order is ready to ship you will get an email notifying you of the shipping and it should provide the order and tracking number

Sorry for the inconvenience and the confusion this caused! No worries my friend, you awesome Tracer statue will get to you soon!

I hope you have a great day Richard and remember if you ever need anything you know where to find us!

This answered NONE of my questions. so now I'm
getting a little upset. going to try this again.

Whats going on in the world of statue collecting!?!?!

It's always obvious when customer service is outsourced or the person just using copy/paste on already prepared responses.

Yeah, that's thoroughly useless. Didn't begin to acknowledge your first three questions.

You know, collecting has dived down a deep dark hole when you consider yourself lucky for NOT ordering a product.

The way this hobby is going I'm actually making money!

Got this update:

Thanks for getting in touch about this issue.

In order to ascertain whether the cards used for the Tracer statue purchase were still valid, and active, we recently set up an authorisation for everyone who'd pre-ordered this item. This charge was only an authorization though, and not an actual charge, so you shouldn't see any funds removed from your account. We will be sending an email to all affected customers with further information on this in the next day or two, so please do keep an eye on your email.

Hope this helps, and have a great day!

Well that's something at least. Would it have hurt them to send an email first though? I mean honestly.

Edit: So wait, that's three different responses to the same issue. I was told it was an error, Zabel was told the statue was shipping, and Caledor was told it was just for authorization. What a **** show.

Got an email..

“Cheers, love! The cavalry’s here!”

Greetings,

You may have noticed a recent authorization attempt from Blizzard Entertainment on your credit card. This authorization occurred because the current preorder period for Tracer has ended and we’ve started to prepare for the next stage of the process. Please be aware that this authorization is only a temporary hold of funds to authenticate your purchase. You are not being charged at this time.

The Tracer statue is expected to ship in the second quarter of 2015.

Regards,

Blizzard Gear Store Team
