I love this piece, wanted something like this for years. Boromir companion piece is a must too. Are they shipping?

I have this peace in hand.
Didn't go for borimir cause I have the sideshow maquette one.
But this looks great in person I read somewhere.

Ordered this at weta.
So this was shipped direct from the warehouse that happens to move to the Netherlands were I live.

Mine will arrive this week. The public holiday got in the way.

edit.

BUY THIS STATUE NOW

I loved it in the photos but holy crap. It is the most menacing, cool LOTR collectible ever made. I am blown away by it. The pose, expression, textures and paint bring this thing to life.

There's a bit of assembly required. He connects to the base by a metal peg in the right foot. The satchel, back loin and left hand (with bow) connect by magnets. The bow string has to be drawn back very tightly to loop around two of the fingers on the right hand. It's made of nylon so shouldn't snap. The arrow sits in place but I had to use a smidgen of black poster putty to stop it from falling.

I managed to get the matching set. They are without doubt two of the best Weta have made. Waited years for fallen Boromir and this piece beats my high expectations! Lurtz equals the SS 1/4 and only loses out to the ex version....yes, it is that good.

Hey guys,

I have a question.

I did not dare to drawn the bow back in order to put the string between his fingers. I am afraid that it would snap. Do you think that could happen?Anyone in doubt or is it just me?

Thanks in advance
