So is this how you judge all movies? by a random person's score before hand? Or most precisely a random score, with not even a sentence on reasoning or justification? You're doing it wrong mate lol

In Demona's defence there is a significant stable of reviews on RT's and they are all pretty much at that 50% mark.

Not in the least. However, AsOneDead usually shares the same opinion on movies And.....

I judge them by the nature of the previous movies that Singer has given us (both in writing and direction). Being a die-hard X-Men fan (comics, not just movies/cartoons), Singer has not done justice to the franchise and only one of his movies has truly made me happy -- DOFP. And from the trailers this movie has not given me a lot of hope. I mean, why are we centered around Mystique as a leader?!

I think my liking of DOFP has more to do with the casting that came before Singer because he was able to use the cast from First Class -- which I also enjoy, but he had no hand in.

Regardless, I will be going. And I'm sure some aspects I will like, others I will hate. What I always feel when leaving X-Men movies is the feeling of longing. Longing for a serious, true reboot with the bright costumes and age correct casting (and can Storm get some blue eyes for f*ck sake).

So far DOFP has been my favorite.
Yeah, same, this definitely doesn't have a strong story and character development like DOFP.

That doesn't say much though.

Currently at 52%, it's considered the SECOND LOWEST rated X-Men film next to Wolverine Origins...

Yikes!

A little of both. She appeared in Joss Whedon's Astonishing X-Men series, but had completely different powers.
