I thought XM had a pretty kick ass show.

Best: Predator (I can't wait to see this painted)

Worst: Magdalena (For such an ambitious sculpt she deserves better)

Of the pieces shown Black Cat is the only one I may buy and I agree some improvements can be made to the paints.

I don't want to dump on XM. However, I will say that prior sneak-peak years looked more promising.

Black Cat is a damn near lock on the order. I just hope they tweak the paint on her portraits to give a little life to the eyes, fix the toothy smile, and give her hair some shading depth.

And why can't XM match the really well done hair on Witchblade? That hair has movement, height, and shading without seeming clunky. Whoever sculpted that -- use them for all the women's hair. That person gets it!

I respect and love XM, hard for someone like me who has no artistic ability to criticize but I am a collector so I will say it's good to see that I'm not the only one who thinks Carnage is off.

My personal fav of the show is Horse Face Thor HFT FTW.
Something about him really captures my imagination and I am a sneeze away from pulling the trigger. The only thing preventing me is the price tag for a character I'm not infatuated with.

I'm not exactly on board with everyone saying Primes colors were to dull, I thought it looked great. Not sure how I'd feel if they went with an even brighter paint scheme, I for one enjoyed it.

Predator was a very fun piece to admire as is Hulkbuster. The more detail they put into the base, ie Darkness and Magneto, the more I love the statue.

Perhaps this is why I find myself leaning towards XM so much, they do so much more with the base of the statues to compliment the main attraction, feels like I get more bang for my buck. Doesn't always work out, the spiderman statue for one, to much emphasis on his surroundings and not enough focus on Spidey, imo.

Not huge into collecting Star Wars statues....but, man, that one was a huge let down for others I'm sure. XM does have a track record of correcting most if not all concerns so I'm sure it'll turn out just fine towards it's release window.

Carnage....gah! Why carnage?! Why did you turn out so fugly?! Going to have to wait a little longer till I can get my hands on one that doesn't make me question whether carnage was as badass as I had pegged him to be in the comics. For now Venom takes the cake.

Gwen's eyes still haunt me. I really love the statue but that face needs some love.

I was very much looking forward to the Vader reveal so without a doubt that was the worst one for me.

Beta Ray Bill was the best.
