First4Figures - Shenmue Ryo Hazuki Statue

Speechless at the idea of a Ryo peice being made. Just...wow

They should produce a Skies of Arcadia statue too, one of the dreamcast's gem. Loved every bit of that game. Forummember Ben did a sculpt a while back: http://www.statueforum.com/showthread.php?t=123093

This is a must buy for me. Too bad there is no fabric used. Makes me suspect this is not 1/4 scale which is a tad bit disappointing, but certainly a money saver.

O man, this pumps me up. I am also glad about no fabric.....make mine fully sculpted. Face looks a little fat, but I will reserve judgement for more pictures. ALl we need now is a Shenmue III announcement, but we know that's not happening

The face is accurate to how he looks in the games I would say. I'm fairly confident Ryo was designed to be a sort of flat average looking guy to begin with. That's part of his appeal imo. That and his voice and some of his infamous lines just make him so memorable.
