If you guys that know me want a good laugh, I started off taking Forensic's at John Jay College. Made it 3 years into it and then changed my mind, couldn't take it anymore. I was originally going to go for a masters in forensic sciences and then get a job with the police but I just didn't have the heart for it. Too much out there and I give credit to those who do.

The Terrance Howard thread reminded me this old one.
Anyone else on the forum active or former forces or police?

Where are you at now? I'm stuck at Wright-Patterson
5 years as a Deputy Sheriff, then 12 years as an Air Force Security Forces officer, now on my 3rd year as a hired gun (gov't contractor).

It seems a couple of us have done this stuff for a long time. For me, it was 8 1/2 years Air Military Police/Security and coming up on 16 years Sheriff's Corrections Officer/Supervisor. I hang out with the crooks and then come home to my house of fantasy!

Cool thread, and I have often wondered about the correlation, too!
I'm currently a volunteer police officer--no difference from a regular police officer except that I don't get paid a salary! I work in the corporate world by day and fight crime at night! I love law enforcement!
