This will help you better manage the traffic on the site for a smoother preorder and will not force international buyers in Europe to stay awake till 4 in the night, thanks to the longer time frame.
Erick is thinking of either opening it a day or possibly two days earlier for the people that pre-order. He will send a link so people can buy ahead of time.

thats another thing, how in the hell are you going to put a huge character like that on a thin little disc base - no way thats going to be strong enough to hold

this honestly upsets me, i think its absolutely ridiculous - i usually dont let stuff bug me but man this just rubs me the wrong way

Where it has been said they're lowering Akuma's base?
Stability of the statues comes above all, nobody wants leaning issues; besides, Ryu's base can be easily raised.

Change on the scale of the statue is another story, that I would avoid.

Please have consistency in regards to base thickness (standard set by Ryu)

Diameter
of base (on the other hand) no qualms with it being variable - based on the size & stance of the character in question.

Would be crazy to change charcter scale - whole line should be consistenttttttttt

This akuma statue may be someone's 1st purchase & ryu's size next to akuma would be irrelevant or they may have ryu & not want this akuma etc, also ppl complaining may not have any intentions of purchasing to begin with I think it's fine as is & I'm in for both versions they look great.

I'm sure Erick and his team know what their doing and wouldn't compromise the engineering. This is going to be the best Akuma in the market so lots of people will be gunning for this.

Just read Eric's post about QC improvement so can understand requirement to make base thicker. A riser would be welcome then. Currently got my Ryu on a lazy susan turntable anyway.

please don't mess with the statue scale though . i'm guessing requests came from those who want to display with PCS line...(to be frank) that line doesn't have scale consistency, let alone artwork consistency.

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.
