XM?s clumsy roll out is turning around with the new pics popping up as a lot of have changed their minds once seeing better lighted pictures..
Hearing the how good this is in person by folks I know has me excited! Fixing the paint issues will be just another good move?

Have those same individuals that have seen him in person made any comments regarding the texture of his skin? Does it look better in person? I stayed away from this solely because of that. The pics make it look a bit over done and messy.

I don't know, I'm torn. I feel like there are too many ways for it to go wrong. Maybe leaving it white is the safer route.

I'd rather leave it white. It gives him more of a rabid out of control look.

I'm not buying it, but I agree. It's great they also fixed the missing white patches on his hands.

Nchanzplace just put up a detailed video. He doesn't seem super enamored with the piece (base too big and pose not ideal for display). Great look at the statue though! I'm even more pumped about getting Venom in.

I actually noticed all his same observations, it just comes down to if you think they are issues for you or not.

For example, i would rather have a symbiote goo ring around his arm, than just a seam (I will never trust a factory to make a good Venom seam). They could have done more ring like goo in the area, or branched the single seam goo, so as not to make the seam ring stand out, but still, it's the better choice for me personally.
