lol good point

Agreed...to each their own but this is almost completely dependent on the light up...I'm not impressed with the paint (especially that cheez whiz chain)

This actually waitlisted. I thought there was some kind of indication to show statues getting close to low stock?

The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

I would agree because they saw that collectors were just starting to wait until those 30% and/or Free Shipping with the larger ES that were attached to those statues. Even I was starting to get into the habit of just waiting the inevitable discounts and free shipping offers instead of paying full price for a bloated ES statue.

I really like that Sideshow has gotten back into the lower ES for their statues. Bringing the "collectible" back into collecting.

I would galdly part ways with all those statues for a smaller ES statues of the same character.

I do not actually believe waitlists to be sincere. TH is using waitlists as a regular selling tactic.

It's a really cool piece...I think it looks good both lit and unlit. When unlit you get to see some purple and silvery highlights in the paintjob and some other finer details that look great. The blistering on the upper leather jacket is dope...and then lit, well it speaks for itself. They didn't skimp on the lumens, it's bright!

The cheese whiz and awkward angles disappear lit up. Its a great lightup that elevates a just ok piece. But since there are not a lot of options out there for GR, I can see why it has its fans and it will probably be another decade before they do him again. This is a piece you have to place where you can easily light it up though.

Cons of this piece:
1. Not Full Bike
2. High Price
3. Cheap Chinese wiring most likely to fail and when it does the disappointment will be immense.

Eliminate any 1 of those 3 and I would be ordering. If not for #3 I would have already ordered because I would want this lit up PERMANENTLY.

I love how they took the idea of the Silver Surfer's Nova painted flames and took it to 11 on thie piece I just wish they had spent as much effort on the flames paint.

I am most impressed with the light-up feature. Is it that much of a let down without lights? I am curious if on someone's review on the painted pieces. I had XM GR, and sold it off because it was too big for display. Was contemplating on getting this SS GR,....but its now on Wait list...hmmm
