I've sold a bunch of stuff, I simply don't have the room to keep unlimited statues, nor the money. It helps to keep a fresh inventory coming through for more statue reviews for my site as well.

I do keep my favourite ones though, I still have some from when I started collecting.

I watched ONE of those shows (Pawn Stars), and I haven't since; the episode I watched, some guy sold them a journal that was verified to have belonged to Isaac Newton for $7,000. $7,000?! He questioned their offer, and brought up that he could take it to Tiffany's/Southeby's and get ten times that amount (uh.. I'd say 100 times that amount ), and they "convinced" him as to why that was a "bad idea".
People that buy into their bs are sheep, but those guys, on that show at least, are f#cking crooks. Yes, I get it that you have to buy for less than you'd sell it to make a profit, but $7,000?! Master manipulators.

I attend/bid in live/estate/etc auctions every so often, so I prefer the show where the guy runs an auction house (I forget what it's called).

I saw that one too, I just like seeing the interesting stuff some bring in, many just sitting up in their attics.

I remember my first flip like it was yesterday. When AP's were still worth money I flipped a AP Bowen Thing full size for $750. Bought a numbered Thing statue and a bunch of other stuff. Flip mode for life!

Those Bowen days are so long gone, I don't even remember them anymore. Wow. $750 for a Thing AP.

I have very fond memories of the good ol' Bowen days. That's until he came on his forum and destroyed the value of his own stuff. F'n momo. But I made some good money in those days. My number one score was $675 for a mini AP Cap statue. Ahhh good times.
