Well this one can be considered an error piece. The base is put on backwards...that's what it looks like from the pics!

The unpainted grey versions aren't as rare as I used to think. Nuff is having Paul Moore paint one for him and they are what Paul paints and he has painted several. I don't know how many there are but you could PM Clay or Paul and ask. RE value, I have seen them go for a wide range of prices on ebay, most near the price of a painted one, but some considerably higher.

The base is not a separate piece, it is all one (unless you are talking about the flat piece of wood that the statue sits on?) and it is not reversed or backwards. If you look at the picture on the box and then look at the statue you can see it is exactly the same, or if you have the statue, that is how it looks. It also matches the Frazetta painting, except for the bikini on the regular version.

I think he was talking about the pics of the auctioned piece that went for such a high price. But as I said in my previous post, the base is NOT a seperate piece for this statue (although it does sit on a plain piece of wood)

That is different than the unpainted grey's that I have seen. I know there are some that are all grey out there and I have seen them before. Maybe Deanst can post pics of his so we can see exactly which he is talking about. I could be talking about a completely diffrent animal.

This one comes as a kit...2 pieces...The difference as it was explained to me...is the chain hanging in the back...I'd have to check my emails from Paul to see if there was any other difference...
