I have no interest in buying the statue either way, but I agree that the cheap doll hair for the horse totally ruins this piece.

If I could afford this, both in terms of monetary outlay as well as display/storage space, but found one aspect of it- beyond the primary character- to be problematic, I would buy it and have that one aspect fixed/modified.
The horsehair is the big sticking point? EASILY addressed. Get some Apoxie and hire a second year art student to redo it for you.
IMO, this is far and away the best Gadot WW statue anyone has made. Everything else is varying degrees of an also ran.
I'd never let something so easily modified like the horse's mane, stop me from getting it.

on the waitlist on the sideshow site, I think that soon they will close the order of pieces that will be distributed in america, since the delivery date changed to May - June, although it could go until August or September.
I would like to see some photos of the production pieces

The pictures you see from P1 are the production piece. I don't think they use pro painters for their pics.

That’s what I heard as well. But in either case most of their production pieces don’t look too far off from the prototypes. At least not to the same level as Sideshow.
I really really wished I had the space necessary for the footprint for this statue. When it originally came up for preorder it was 4x the standard 1/3 statue. Now with the rising prices of their recent preorders, it’s now at 3x the new standard, which was what I originally thought it would be priced at.

3x is still too much IMO.

Don’t disagree (but to me it would’ve been fair given the size of figure, horse and base), but honestly I probably would’ve bought it at $2,700 USD, when the standard was $900. When we get right down to it all our statues are too much, especially to those outside the hobby. Heck $100 is too much to most.

Seems like years ago this was first shown. How long before unboxing/reviews surface?
I want to see the unboxing video that starts with the courier unloading the boxes
